Producer's Handbook

Introduction

Contracts, Financial Reporting & Deliverables

Distribution and Promotion

Production (Forms)

Rights, Releases and Insurance

This Handbook delivers practical information concerning NAPT funding, program production, deliverables and other issues we find come up every now and then. While we try to cover as much as we can on the production process, this is not a complete how-to-produce-for-public-television manual. This handbook includes information provided on rights and clearances and is meant to be used as a guideline but cannot be substituted for professional legal advice, you will have to hire a lawyer for that. It is, however, our best effort in providing information and materials that will be helpful as you embark on the production process. NAPT will revise and update this handbook periodically in order to provide our producers with the most recent and accurate information available.

We are willing to make this handbook available on CD per a producer's request. Contact us using the information below for additional information.
